Editing colors in a palette

You can change a color in the palette by editing it in the Color Table panel. Editing a color replaces all instances of that color in the image to be exported. Editing does not replace the color in the original image.

To edit a color:

1 Select a color and open the system color picker:
Select a color and click the Edit Color button at the bottom of the Color Table panel.
Double-click a color in the Color Table panel.
Select a color and choose Edit from the Options pop-up menu.
2 Change the color using the system color picker.
The new color replaces every instance of the replaced color in the preview area.

Note: Right-click (Windows) or Control-click (Macintosh) a color in the palette to display a shortcut menu of edit options for the color.

To remove edits from colors:

1 Select an edited color in the Color Table panel.
2 Remove the edit:
Click to deselect the button corresponding to the edit you want to remove. For example, to unlock a color, select a locked color and then click the Lock button at the bottom of the Color Table panel.
Choose Remove Edit from the Color Table panel Options pop-up menu.
The color reverts to its original, unedited color.
